As we have been visiting clients around the country to demonstrate our alternative website solution for the Cybertill EPoS system, we are asked to explain what the Cybertill SOAP services are.

We are aware that Cybertill has a brief overview on their website (Cybertill SOAP Services), however it does not provide detail or answer client concerns about using a third party developer, such as Data-Streams Cybertill website solution.

Therefore we have created a new page of information on the Cybertill SOAP services module. Explaining what you will get, what it is and what to expect from the service.

SOAP is a method introduced to allow completely incompatible system to communicate and in the case of Cybertill, it allows  their clients to connect their EPoS system with any external service.

This is an important feature for Cybertill as it allows their customers the flexibility they need in an ever changing world to make the investment into Cybertill extensible.

Importantly, the services have been written and provided by Cybertill using industry standard rules and conform to W3C standards, so avoids the constraints of third party developers having to be authorised or partners with Cybertill.

This means that any developer with the knowledge and skill to complete and development is free to do so with causing any issues with the Cybertill system.
